Sunshine Zimbabwe Project was established in 2011 to provide education and training to adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities.  This project was developed in response to a need for a facility to cater for school leavers from special schools within Harare.  Sunshine Zimbabwe Project is registered as a division of Silver Linings Trust; however fundraising and management are independently run by a separate board.  Staff include management, teachers and volunteers.

It is always an absolute pleasure to work with the team at Sunshine Project, whose pure dedication and hard work are a true inspiration to all!  This project shows how great teamwork can support those with special needs and reminds us that "together we can do so much" I am honoured to be a small part of the process.

I have so enjoyed meeting and working with Sunshine members and staff.  Members are happy, engaged in and enthusiastic about their activities and work, and exceedingly welcoming to visitors and friends.  Members and staff are open to input and developing skills and opportunities further.  A great place for members and contributors alike!
